Our help for:

The Bethlehem School

Anima Universale donated a total of Euro 40,000 to help the “Beit Sahour” school in the »Sheperd’s Field” of Bethlehem, which is attended by 604 students aged between 3 and 18.

Monsignor Virginio Fogliazza - Chaplain of His Holiness, Archimandrite of Antioche and parish priest of SS. Filippo, Giacomo and Gualtero in Lodi - has been supporting the Eastern Church in Jerusalem for nearly thirty years and among other tasks he is very committed to supporting the Beit Sahour school. Because of the sadly known situation of that troubled land, this school runs the risk of closing owing to the lack of means, with dramatic consequences for students and teachers. Monsignor Fogliazza informed us about this problem, and we have taken it to heart.

ramia Osvaldo Ristuccia with H.B. Gregory IIIRamias with Monsignor Virginio Fogliazza and H.B.Gregory IIILater on, our President received from beloved Monsignor Virginio Fogliazza this e-mail, which, with great emotion, we share with you all, who help us to help... with you, the protagonists of the Good that Universal Soul is able to accomplish:

Dear President,
His Beatitude Gregory III and His Patriarchal Vicar in Jerusalem Mtanios Haddad wishes to express again their THANKS through me for Your exquisite and great generosity towards the school of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem and the 604 children.

With people of huge horizons like you, the School WON’T CLOSE, in spite of dramatic circumstances.

Thank you also from me.

May the Lord, who out of His Love sent His Son to save all, help us to persist in our efforts to love Him with all our will and also to love all without excluding anyone. Thank you

Archimandrite Virginio

At this meeting Monsignor Battikha explained to us the needs of his Eparchy (Diocese) in Syria and its great economic effort to build a new hospital in Damascus.

Thanks to God’s Providence, Anima Universale then gave Euro 25,000 for this important work.
