In the Temple at Leini (Turin, Italy) with Swami Roberto and in the Temple at Poggiana di Riese Pio X (Treviso, Italy), the Church Anima Universale celebrated Holy Christmas, to give glory to the Word of God who became flesh.
In Leini the celebration began with the traditional White Christmas song, sung in Italian and English by the talented Simona Sorbara.
Despite the unusually mild temperature, considering it was Christmas night, Swami still “warmed” hearts. With his well-known depth and spontaneity, he nourished the souls of the many participants with a reflection on the ever-present meaning of Christmas.
In addition to the prayers and songs of praise and adoration of the Divine Infant of Bethlehem, many prayers also rose towards God’s Heaven for the difficulties of those present and for humanity torn apart by wars, by the economic crisis and by climate change, which inflicts on poorer people famine and suffering.
The Vigil ended on the notes of Happy Christmas (War is Over) in the beautiful version recorded by our dear friend Red Canzian of Pooh.
Also in the Temple of Poggiana the prayers and praises were intense and heartfelt, in a well-attended function.
