Today the wonderful nine hundred-year-old olive that you can admire in the photograph has arrived at our Ashram in Leinì (Italy). It comes from Loria, the village in the province of Treviso where the grandparents of Swami Roberto, Antonietta and Angelo Bonato, used to live. There, Swami spent a great part of his childhood together with many beloved people.
The Madonna wanted the olive, a biblical symbol of regeneration and peace, to reach Her Home on this exact day, which is the day dedicated to Her through the name of Mary Helper.
The first help was at the moment when the truck transporting the big tree was able to pass under the entrance vault with a margin of a couple of millimetres, saving us from big complications while planting it in the middle of the cloister.
As soon as it was settled in its place, the big olive tree immediately displayed a special power: the sight of it inexplicably infuses a big joy into one’s heart. Evidently Mary’s blessing makes this strong experience possible.
Also today the Madonna has put Her signature, making us feel Her motherly presence. Hallelujah!
