Child sponsorship
Anima Universale has adopted-at-a-distance seventy-seven children of Christian, Hindu, Islamic and Buddhist religion.
Our sponsorship will go on until the children are adult and economically self-sufficient. We have given Euro 100,460.82 to this purpose so far.
- In the Salesian Sister’s Mission of Sister Nancy Pereira in Bangalore, South India, we have been sponsoring thirty children since 2001.
- Since 2001 as well, we have been sponsoring ten orphan brothers who are being cared for by Sister Elizabeth Thannimootil in the Salesian mission of Rangblang, North-East of India.
- Since February 2004, we have been sponsoring little Sat, a Cambodian child with the help of Sister Elizabeth Ophriini in the Salesian mission of Phum Chreh. A special thank to Mrs Tina Sirtori, a Vides volunteer, who very kindly ships us photographs and keep us informed about the child.
- Since July 2004, we have been sponsoring 30 girls of the Salesian Centre Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza of Uribe, Colombia, with the help of Sister Caycedo Leonor.

- Since April 2007, we have been sponsoring two young Tibetan refugees who live at “Gaden Jangtse” Buddhist monastery in India. Their names are Tenzin -- a little girl -- and Urgen -- a boy in monk training).
- Since June 2007, we have also being sponsoring two young Tibetan refugees who live at “Sera Je” Buddhist monastery in India. Their names are Dorjee and Lobsang.
- Sice July 2007, we have been sponsoring Mpwanga, a child who is being cared for by the Salesian Sisters in their mission of Lubumbashi, Congo.
- Sice July 2007, we have been sponsoring Vasanth, a child who is being cared for by the Salesian Sisters of the Little Flower Convent of Pallikonda, India.
